Your tour begins with pick up from your hotel or cruise ship, then travel in air-conditioned comfort throughout the day. The first stop is Sun Stud for a tour of the stud farm and the Stallion Parade. Studs include Australian Guineas winner Palentino, Melbourne Cup winner Fiorente, French champion National Defense, Black Caviar's sire Bel Esprit plus Ready for Victory, Squamosa,Thronum and Magnus.
We then drive across the Macedon Ranges to the township of Woodend where we'll relax over a pub lunch at Holgate Brewery.
After lunch we'll meet and feed the champions at Living Legends. The legends include Melbourne Cup Winners Brew, Rogan Josh, Efficient and Almandin; Caulfield Cup winners Fawkner and Paris Lane plus Cox Plate winner Fields of Omagh. Plus crowd favourites Apache Cat, Maluckyday, The Cleaner, Zipping, Who Shot Thebarman, Tom Melbourne and many champions of the Hong Kong Jockey club including Super Jockey, Lucky Nine, Good Ba Ba, Bullish Luck and Silent Witness.
The legends tour is followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea in the historic Woodlands Homestead
