IMS Congress - Pre and Post Congress 3-Day Tour

Join fellow IMS delegates on a three-day tour to discover some of the best of regional Victoria, including the Great Ocean Road and the Penguin Parade. Choose a tour either before or after the conference.

Day 1:
Board your tour bus in Melbourne for a three-day adventure.  Today is filled with wildlife encounters, scenic landscapes, and gastronomic delights.

Our first stop takes us to Healesville Sanctuary, where you'll have the chance to get up close and personal with native Australian animals in their natural habitats. After a morning of exploration, we'll indulge in a delicious lunch and wine tasting at a local winery.

Continuing our journey, we'll drive to Philip Island, where you'll have some time to freshen up at our hotel before heading out for an unforgettable experience at the Penguin Parade. As the sun sets, watch in awe as these adorable little penguins waddle their way back to their nests along the shoreline.

Day 2:
Rise and shine for another day of exploration!  After a hearty breakfast, we'll bid farewell to Philip Island and

head to the Mornington Peninsula, where stunning coastal views await. See the peninsula laid out before you from the comfort of the Sea Eagle cable car.

We'll enjoy a delicious lunch at the Eagle Summit Café at the top of Arthur’s Seat, before our return to the base on the cable car. Our journey continues with a scenic drive to Sorrento where we will catch the ferry across Port Philip Bay to Queenscliff to begin our tour of the Great Ocean Road.

Dinner tonight will be your own arrangements.  Your tour host will have some great suggestions of restaurants close to the hotel where you can eat.

Day 3:
On our final day, we'll make the most of every moment as we explore some of Victoria's most iconic landmarks. Our first stop is Bells Beach, renowned for its legendary surf breaks and breathtaking coastal scenery. Next, we'll stop at the historic Split Point Lighthouse to marvel at the rugged beauty of the surrounding coastline.  Early bird bookings have the opportunity to add on the optional extra of a tour of the lighthouse (additional charge).

Afterwards, we'll enjoy a leisurely lunch in Apollo Bay before immersing ourselves in the lush greenery of Melba Gully Rainforest during a tranquil walk. For the thrill-seekers among us, helicopter rides offer a bird's-eye view of the spectacular Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge.  Please note helicopter flights are an optional extra and incur an additional charge.

As the day draws to a close, we'll have a final group dinner in Geelong before returning to Melbourne, concluding our three-day tour filled with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories.

Accommodation: Twin share rooms in 4-star accommodation or equivalent provided for two nights. Single rooms available at an additional cost.

Meals: All meals included except where specified.

Entrances: Entrance fees to Healesville Sanctuary, Arthurs Seat Eagle gondola flight and Penguin Parade included.

Activities: Wine tasting, gondola rides, Melba Gully Rainforest Walk, and ferry transfer included.

Transportation: Comfortable 24-seater bus transportation throughout the tour.
